The Administrative Technical Institute organized a five-day training course entitled “Investment in Renewable Energy and Its Role in Sustainable Development.” The program was arranged by the Continuing Education Unit in cooperation with the Department of Materials Management Techniques and was attended by Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, along with a number of faculty members and students.
The course aimed to highlight the significance of investing in renewable energy as a driver of economic growth and a means of reducing environmental emissions. It also explored administrative and technical aspects of renewable energy projects, financing mechanisms, and successful international experiences in the field.
The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hind Ali Sabri and witnessed active participation and positive engagement from attendees. The initiative forms part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability awareness and enhance the professional capabilities of its staff and students.
