Administrative Technical Institute in Basra Hosts Scientific Seminar on Al-Ain Social Care Foundation Services

The Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, under the supervision of the University Psychological Counseling Unit, held a scientific seminar entitled “Services of Al-Ain Social Care Foundation” at the institute’s discussion hall. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, along with a number of faculty members, students, and those interested in social affairs.

The seminar, delivered by Dr. Ali Fakher, introduced Al-Ain Social Care Foundation, highlighting its humanitarian mission, objectives, and key programs and services provided to eligible groups, particularly orphans and underprivileged families. The lecture also shed light on the foundation’s effective role in promoting social solidarity and supporting psychological and social stability.

The speaker emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between academic institutions and civil society organizations in raising social awareness and fostering a culture of humanitarian and volunteer work, noting the positive impact of such initiatives on shaping students’ personalities and enhancing their sense of social responsibility.
