Announcement: Launch of the National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship (NURAI)
The National University Robotics Championship (NURAI) is a nationwide scientific competition organized under the supervision of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event aims to foster technological innovation and encourage students to develop both practical and theoretical skills in robotics, intelligent systems, control engineering, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems.
The championship features six specialized competition tracks covering the mechanical, electronic, software, and engineering aspects of modern robotics. It serves as a national platform for discovering talented students and supporting applied research projects across Iraqi universities.
Vision
To become Iraq’s leading applied scientific platform for showcasing engineering talent and fostering an innovative research environment in robotics and artificial intelligence, in line with global industrial trends and the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution, which integrates the physical, digital, and biological worlds.
Mission
To empower Iraqi students and researchers by providing advanced scientific competitions that enhance technical skills, promote applied research, teamwork, and innovation, strengthen collaboration between universities and industry, and support promising projects with the potential to become nationally valuable products.
