The Administrative Technical Institute Organizes an Intellectual Dialogue on the Role of the University in Shaping an Effective Individual
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of Southern Technical University, and supervision of Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute, the Department of Business Management Technologies, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department and the Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) Cultural Center affiliated with the Holy Shrine – Religious Affairs Section, organized an intellectual dialogue entitled “The Role of the University in Shaping an Effective Individual.”
The seminar was held in the Discussions and Seminars Hall on Wednesday, 24/2025, attended by faculty members and students. It explored the role of universities in developing students’ personalities scientifically, ethically, and intellectually, emphasizing the importance of promoting human values and social responsibility to prepare an aware generation capable of actively contributing to society.
Participants highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration between academic, religious, and cultural institutions in instilling positive principles and fostering intellectual awareness among students. They emphasized that the university plays a central role in shaping individuals who can face the challenges and changes of the modern era.
This seminar is part of a series of scientific and cultural activities organized by the Administrative Technical Institute, in line with its educational and developmental mission to support academic advancement and cultivate effective, socially responsible individuals.
