The Administrative Technical Institute in Basra Holds Workshop on Entrepreneurial Management Skills and Small Business Administration

The Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, in cooperation with the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, organized a scientific workshop as part of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week titled “Entrepreneurial Management Skills and Small Business Administration.” The workshop was held in the institute’s Discussions and Seminars Hall.

The session was presented by Dr. Rafid Khudair Al-Saadi, who discussed modern entrepreneurship concepts and the key managerial skills required for entrepreneurs. The workshop focused on the fundamentals of small business management, planning and implementation mechanisms, and ways to address the challenges that may face such projects.

The lecturer emphasized the importance of promoting an entrepreneurial mindset among students and graduates, highlighting its role in supporting the national economy and creating sustainable job opportunities. He also stressed the need to keep pace with administrative and economic developments as well as labor market demands.

The workshop was attended by the Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, Professor Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Assistant Dean Dr. Jaafar Sadiq Al-Wazni, along with a number of faculty members and students. The event witnessed active engagement from participants through discussions and questions, reflecting the importance of the topic and its impact on developing the managerial and entrepreneurial capabilities of young people.
