The Administrative Technical Institute organized an introductory seminar titled “Iraqi Legislation and Laws for the Protection of Iraqi Women,” hosted by the Women’s Affairs Division in cooperation with the Department of Materials Management Techniques. The seminar was held in the hall of the Department of Materials Management Techniques.
The seminar featured two lectures delivered by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Hadeed Hamza and Assistant Lecturer Aseel Nader Mousa. The presentations highlighted the most important Iraqi laws and legislations concerned with protecting women’s rights, emphasizing their role in promoting social justice and reinforcing the principle of equality. The speakers also discussed the legal mechanisms that ensure protection for women against various forms of violence and discrimination.
The seminar was attended by a number of lecturers and students, who actively engaged with the topics through constructive discussions and contributions, helping to raise legal and social awareness about the importance of protecting and empowering women.
This seminar comes as part of a series of scientific and awareness activities regularly organized by the Administrative Technical Institute in support of spreading legal culture and strengthening the role of women in society.
