The Department of Mechanical Technologies at Basra Technical Institute held a seminar titled “The International Day of the Arabic Language and the Major Challenges Facing This Language,” with the presence of several faculty members and students of the department. The lecturer was Dr. Ali Fakhir Habib.

Dr. Mohammed Hammed Radhi, a faculty member in the Mechanical Technologies Department at Basra Technical Institute, was selected as a scientific reviewer for a journal (Numerical Heat Transfer, Part B: Fundamentals) to review and assess a scientific article titled (Efficient cooling system design by using different shaped nanoparticles and rotating cylinders in channel system for photovoltaic thermal management”) The evaluated research is affiliated with the journal Taylor and Francis
