As part of supporting meaningful community initiatives, the Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, Professor Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, supervised the volunteer campaign held under the slogan “My University is More Beautiful,” which focused on cleaning and decorating the gate of the Southern Technical University with the participation of staff members from the Administrative Technical Institute.
This supervision comes in line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote the culture of volunteer work, strengthen the values of institutional belonging, and support activities that contribute to improving the university environment and preserving the civilized appearance of educational institutions.
The institute’s administration affirmed that its support and supervision of such initiatives fall within its administrative and educational responsibilities toward serving the university community and fostering a spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility among staff members. The administration also praised the efforts made to ensure the success of the campaign and achieve its objectives.
This campaign is considered one of the volunteer activities that the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra is keen to support and implement in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the institution’s mission to actively contribute to community service and the advancement of the university environment.
