As part of efforts to raise environmental awareness and promote a culture of volunteerism, the students of the Department of Legal Administration Technologies at the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra organized a campaign to plant the department’s garden. The initiative was conducted under the direct supervision and continuous follow-up of the department head, Dr. Omar Salah Al-Din Nouri, with the participation of a select group of the department’s faculty members.
The initiative aims to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the campus and create a green learning environment befitting the department and its students, fostering a sense of belonging and social responsibility. The campaign included planting various plants and trees and organizing the green spaces surrounding the department, in an atmosphere marked by cooperation and teamwork.
Dr. Omar Salah Al-Din Nouri emphasized that such activities align with the vision of the department and the institute to support purposeful student initiatives and link academic work with practical applications that help build students’ character and reinforce environmental and humanitarian values within the campus.
This campaign is one of the distinguished initiatives reflecting the awareness of the students of the Department of Legal Administration Technologies and their dedication to actively contributing to improving the university environment, supporting the educational process, and enhancing the civilized image of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra.
