Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute, the institute, in cooperation with the Basra Civil Defense Directorate, organized a workshop titled “Safety and Prevention Measures Against Accidents and Fires in Educational Institutions.”

The session was delivered by Officer Riyadh Khudair Lazim and was attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, the Head of the Services and Civil Defense Division, Mr. Ali Fadhel, along with a group of the institute’s staff members.

The workshop was held in the Discussions and Seminars Hall at the institute’s main building.
