Administrative Technical Institute Holds Workshop on Proper Quran Recitation and Its Etiquette
The Administrative Technical Institute, in cooperation with the University Psychological Counseling Unit, organized a workshop entitled “Proper Reading and Selected Rules and Etiquette of Quran Recitation.” The session was delivered by Dr. Ali Fakher Habib and aimed to enhance students’ religious awareness and understanding of Quranic recitation.
The workshop covered the fundamentals of correct Quran reading, key rules of Tajweed (Quranic pronunciation and recitation), and the proper etiquette associated with reciting the Holy Quran. Emphasis was placed on the importance of mastering recitation as a means of understanding Quranic meanings more deeply and strengthening one’s spiritual connection with the Quran.
The event witnessed active participation from students, who contributed through questions and discussions that enriched the workshop and encouraged meaningful engagement with its topics.
