Administrative Technical Institute Organizes Tree-Planting Campaign to Mark World Planting Day
Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, and with the follow-up of Dr. Omar Salahuddin Nouri, Head of the Department of Legal Administration Techniques, the institute organized a tree-planting campaign on campus to celebrate World Planting Day, observed annually on March 12. The event was also attended by the Head of the Afforestation Unit.
The campaign saw the participation of a number of staff members and students, who planted several saplings in designated green areas across the campus. The initiative aimed to expand green spaces and promote environmental awareness within the university community.
This activity reflects the institute’s commitment to supporting environmental initiatives and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility, contributing to a healthier, greener, and more attractive campus environment.
