The Administrative Technical Institute organized a scientific workshop titled “How to Manage Your Emotions Intelligently,” hosted by the University Psychological Guidance Unit in cooperation with the Department of Materials Management Techniques, as part of the institute’s efforts to promote psychological awareness and develop the personal skills of students and staff members.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, who emphasized in his remarks the importance of organizing such activities due to their significant role in supporting mental well-being and building balanced personalities capable of coping with academic and professional pressures.
The session was presented by Assistant Lecturer Hamed Mahmood Shaker, who discussed the concept of emotional intelligence and its importance in managing emotions and reactions, highlighting its positive impact on improving social relationships and making sound decisions. He also shared a number of practical guidelines and applications aimed at helping participants strengthen these skills.
The workshop, held in the Discussions and Seminars Hall, concluded with positive engagement from attendees, alongside renewed emphasis on continuing scientific and awareness activities that enhance the psychological and intellectual environment within the university community.
