The Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, through its Technology Incubator Unit, organized a workshop entitled “How My Idea Was Born” as part of the Investment and Entrepreneurship Fair, with participation from academics and professionals interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Adyan Ali Mazban, an employee at the College of Oil and Gas, University of Basra, who discussed the stages of generating entrepreneurial ideas and the mechanisms for transforming them into implementable projects, highlighting practical experiences and the importance of creativity in academic and professional work environments.
The workshop was attended by Dean Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Deputy Dean Dr. Jafar Sadiq Al-Wazni, Dr. Eyad Abdul Khaleq, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University Presidency, along with Ms. Kamila and a number of faculty members and students.
The Institute emphasized that organizing such workshops aims to support young talent, foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and link technical education outcomes with labor market requirements, contributing to sustainable development and community service.
