The Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit and several state institutions, organized an awareness seminar titled “How to Protect Your Family Through Regular Checkups – Early Detection of Cancer (Breast Cancer).”

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Afaf Sabti Jasim, who emphasized the vital role of early screening in preventing and detecting cancer—particularly breast cancer—and its importance in safeguarding the health of both families and the wider community.
