Professor Iman Askar Hawi, Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, supervised an awareness workshop organized by the Technology Incubator Unit under the supervision of unit head Mr. Ez Al-Deen Sukban, in cooperation with the “Dose of Hope” team and with the participation of Mr. Ahmed Mazahim from the Office Management Techniques Department.

The workshop was also attended by Visiting Lecturer Dr. Zainab Abdulrazzaq Matar from the College of Veterinary Medicine, while the session was delivered by Dr. Reem Hisham Saleh from the Basra Health Directorate, Director of the National Early Cancer Detection Program.

The event focused on the importance of early screening for cancer and the role of health awareness in promoting prevention and early detection. It came as part of the institute’s efforts to support humanitarian and community initiatives that aim to spread health awareness among students and staff.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Professor Iman Askar Hawi presented letters of appreciation to all contributors and certificates of recognition to the participating team members, in acknowledgment of their outstanding efforts in promoting health awareness and serving the community.
