dir=\"auto\">\n<p>Under the patronage of <strong>Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of Southern Technical University<\/strong>, the <strong>University Rankings Unit<\/strong> organized a workshop titled <strong>\u201cReviewing Our University\u2019s Position in Global Rankings for 2025\u201d<\/strong> at the <strong>Continuing Education Center of Southern Technical University<\/strong> on <strong>Wednesday, 24\/12\/2025, at 10:00 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aimed to highlight the university\u2019s current standing in global rankings, explain the standards used by reputable international institutions, and discuss strategies to improve the university\u2019s position through enhancing academic and research performance, as well as developing quality indicators and institutional accreditation.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions also emphasized the importance of raising awareness among faculty members and researchers regarding global ranking requirements, highlighting their pivotal role in supporting the university\u2019s academic reputation and boosting its competitiveness both locally and internationally, in line with higher education strategic plans.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop witnessed active participation and constructive discussions, with attendees contributing valuable insights, stressing the importance of continuing such specialized workshops to advance the university\u2019s scientific and institutional progress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi<\/strong>, Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, attended the workshop along with
