President of the University Announces the Establishment of Al-Qurna Polytechnic College

The President of Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, proudly announced:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to share with our students, staff, and the wider community the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research\u2019s decision to transform Al-Qurna Technical Institute into Al-Qurna Polytechnic College. This marks a significant academic milestone that adds to the series of achievements of Southern Technical University, made possible by the dedication of our team and the continuous support for our path of development.\u201d<\/p>\n

This decision is part of the national strategy to advance higher education through the establishment of Polytechnic Colleges, linking technical universities more closely with industry and production. The goal is to supply the labor market with highly skilled professionals capable of meeting the demands of development and technological progress.<\/p>\n

Prof. Atiq also added:
\n\u201cOn this occasion, we extend our sincere gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and to the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul-Dahad, for their strong commitment, continuous follow-up, and efforts in overcoming challenges to achieve this accomplishment. This achievement reflects the Ministry\u2019s vision of strengthening applied education and enhancing the capacity of our academic institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
