Workshop on \u201cCyber Blackmail\u201d Held at the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra<\/p>\n

Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, the Office Management Techniques Department organized a workshop titled \u201cCyber Blackmail\u201d on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The event was held in cooperation with the Basra Directorate of Intelligence and Counterterrorism and the Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to shed light on the dangers of cyber blackmail and how to prevent it, as part of the institute\u2019s efforts to raise security and psychological awareness among students and staff. The event witnessed wide participation from both students and department members, who actively engaged with the topics discussed.<\/p>\n

The workshop was also attended by Mr. Ahmed Zidan, Head of Follow-Up at the Southern Technical University, and Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Head of Student Activities, adding valuable academic and moral support to the session.<\/p>\n

This workshop is part of a broader series of initiatives adopted by the institute to promote digital security awareness and protect students from the risks of cyber blackmail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
