Sponsored by the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and under the supervision and presence of the Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, Professor Dr. Iman Asker Hawi, the Department of Studies and Planning, in cooperation with the Department of Materials Management and the Legal Division, organized a workshop entitled:
\n\u201cRejecting Sectarian Rhetoric\u201d
\nThe event was held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the Seminar and Discussion Hall of the Institute.
\nThe workshop, presented by Lecturer Haneen Mahmoud Ibrahim, discussed the importance of confronting hate speech and sectarianism by promoting concepts of citizenship, belonging, and fostering a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
\nThe workshop witnessed active participation from a number of the Institute\u2019s staff and faculty members, reflecting the Institute\u2019s commitment to raising community awareness and strengthening national values within the academic environment.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
