The Administrative Technical Institute in Basra Holds an Awareness Workshop on Combating Drugs and Psychoactive Substances<\/p>\n

In collaboration with the Community Service Unit of the Southern Technical University, the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra organized a workshop titled \u201cCombating Drugs and Psychoactive Substances\u201d on Sunday, December 1, 2024. The workshop was presented by Dr. Buthaina Sultan Aziz, who highlighted the dangers of drugs and psychoactive substances and their devastating effects on individuals and society. She also reviewed awareness and prevention strategies to combat these threats.<\/p>\n

The workshop saw notable attendance, including Dr. Iman Askar Al-Hawi, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, alongside department heads, staff members, and students of the institute. This initiative is part of the institute\u2019s efforts to raise community awareness and promote positive behaviors in addressing negative phenomena.<\/p>\n

The event concluded with an open discussion between the speaker and the attendees, where possible solutions to tackle the issue were explored, emphasizing the role of educational institutions in addressing this critical challenge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
