Workshop on “Inventory Concepts and Methods” at the Administrative Technical Institute

As part of the fourth day of Global Entrepreneurship Week and Sponsored by the Southern Technical University and the Deanship of the Administrative Technical Institute, a specialized workshop titled “Inventory Concepts and Methods” was organized.

The workshop was presented by Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Saeed from the Materials Management Department. It focused on the importance of various types of inventories (continuous, periodic, and annual) and their role in effectively identifying and organizing stored materials. Additionally, the workshop highlighted the significance of utilizing modern technology in inventory management, such as barcode scanners and QR code technologies, to ensure electronic organization of inventory in synchronization with traditional records.

The event was notably attended by Dr. Iman Askar, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, along with department heads, faculty members, institute staff, and students from various departments.

This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing students’ and staff’s knowledge of the latest developments in materials management and encouraging the adoption of technological solutions to improve institutional performance.
