The Accounting Technologies Department, in collaboration with the Career Development and Follow-Up Unit, organized a workshop titled “Fundamentals of Governmental Accounting” on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The event took place at the department’s premises.

The workshop was led by lecturer Sahar Muslim, who provided a comprehensive overview of the principles and foundations of governmental accounting. She also highlighted its practical applications and its role in managing and organizing public resources.

The event attracted a significant number of students, who actively engaged in discussions and raised insightful questions, contributing to a deeper understanding of key accounting concepts.

This workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in governmental accounting and strengthen their practical abilities to meet the demands of the job market. It is part of a series of initiatives organized by the department to support students both academically and professionally.
