Sponsored by the patronage of the President of the Southern Technical University, Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and the Dean of the Technical Institute, Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Youssef, and with the supervision of the Administrative Affairs Assistant at the Technical Administrative Institute, Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, the Student Activities Division and the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Legal Division, organized a seminar titled “The Spyker Crime: The Ideology and Methodology of Terrorist Gangs in Committing Murder and Violating Rights.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Basim Mohammed Al-Fadhli.
The seminar was held to enhance cultural and security awareness among students and staff of the institute, addressing the main aspects of the crime committed by terrorist gangs and shedding light on the criminal approach used to execute this horrific crime that targeted Iraqi youth.
The seminar aims to highlight this crime that shook the conscience of Iraqi and global society, promote a culture of combating terrorism, and establish the values of justice and human rights.
At the end of the lecture, all attendees stood for a moment of silence to recite Al-Fatiha in honor of the souls of the Spyker martyrs.
