The Technical Administrative Institute in Basra Holds an Awareness Workshop on Drug Addiction

Basra – The Technical Administrative Institute, through the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit and in collaboration with the Materials Management Department, organized a workshop titled “Drug Addiction: Causes, Effects, and Treatment Methods” on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in the Discussions and Seminars Hall.

The workshop was presented by Professor Mohammed Qasim, with the attendance of Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, along with a number of staff members and students. The session covered the dangers of addiction and its social and psychological effects, highlighting prevention and treatment strategies. The initiative aimed to raise community awareness about this critical issue.
