A team from Toyota Motor Corporation visited the Basra Technical Institute today, Thursday, aiming to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two parties. The team held a meeting with several graduates from the departments of Electricity, Electronics, Machinery, and Mechanics.
During the meeting, company representatives provided a detailed explanation of their work nature and investment areas in Basra, emphasizing the importance of utilizing outstanding local talents to support and develop the company’s operations. They also discussed available job and training opportunities for new graduates, focusing on enhancing the practical and technical skills needed in the local and international job market.
A Toyota representative stated that the company seeks to support technical and vocational education in Iraq through strategic partnerships with educational institutions. He emphasized that these visits aim to create a direct communication bridge between graduates and the job market, enhancing their employment opportunities in their fields of specialization.
