As part of the third day of Drug Awareness Week, the Administrative Technical Institute organized a workshop titled “A Silent Crime: How Addiction Destroys Society,” under the supervision of the Studies and Planning Division and in cooperation with the Legal Administration Techniques Department.

The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Omar Salahuddin and Asst. Lecturer Basim Mohammed Abdul-Imam. It explored the serious effects of addiction on individuals and society, while also discussing key strategies for prevention and reducing the spread of this phenomenon.

The event was held in the Discussions and Seminars Hall and was attended by a professional audience, with a strong focus on the importance of raising awareness and strengthening the role of educational institutions in combating addiction and supporting community-based prevention initiatives.
