Professor Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, Dean of the Technical Administrative Institute in Basra, attended the second session of the Southern Technical University Council for the 2025/2026 academic year, held on October 23, 2025, at the Technical College of Dhi Qar.
The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, with the attendance of several deans from the university’s affiliated institutes.
During the session, the council discussed a range of academic and administrative matters aimed at developing academic performance and enhancing the quality of technical education, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision for excellence and innovation in technical and vocational education.
