The Administrative Technical Institute organized a workshop titled “How Misleading Media Shapes Public Opinion” at the Discussions and Seminars Hall, under the supervision of the Scientific Division.
The session was delivered by lecturer Jaleel Ouda Abdul-Jaleel, who discussed the main strategies used by manipulative media to influence public opinion and collective awareness. He emphasized the importance of strengthening media literacy to counter such practices.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Jaafar Sadiq Al-Wazni, Associate Dean, along with a number of faculty members and students. Participants highlighted the need to promote media awareness, encourage critical thinking, and reject misinformation as a harmful tool of negative influence in society.
