Dean of the Administrative Technical Institute in Basra, Prof. Dr. Iman Askar Hawi, welcomed Dr. Yassin Al-Amiri, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Education Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, in the presence of the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq.

Dr. Al-Amiri congratulated Dr. Iman on her appointment as Dean of the Institute and presented her with a commemorative shield in recognition of her academic and administrative efforts.

The meeting included discussions on prospects for scientific and cultural cooperation, the role of the institute in serving the community, and strengthening ties with the labor market and specialized companies.

Dr. Hawi expressed her sincere gratitude to Dr. Al-Amiri for his visit and his ongoing support for the advancement of higher education.
