Workshop at the Administrative Technical Institute: “Towards Internationally Accredited Education – Implementing the Bologna Process at the Southern Technical University”
On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the Studies and Planning Division at the Administrative Technical Institute – Basra held a workshop titled “Towards Internationally Accredited Education – Implementing the Bologna Process at the Southern Technical University.” The event took place in the conference hall of the institute’s administration building.
The workshop, moderated by Engineer Sana Hassan Zabon, Head of the Studies and Planning Division, featured a lecture by Assistant Lecturer Hamid Shaker Mahmoud. The session focused on the mechanisms of implementing the Bologna Process in Iraqi higher education. It highlighted the importance of this framework in enhancing the quality of higher education and increasing international recognition of Iraqi university degrees.
The workshop was attended by notable participants, including Dr. Iyad Abdul Khaleq, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, and Dr. Iman Askar, alongside several academic and administrative staff from the institute.
