Sponsored by the Southern Technical University and the Deanship of the Administrative Technical Institute, and under the supervision of Dr. Iman Askar, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a special seminar titled “Duties and Responsibilities of University Students” as part of the activities of Psychological Counseling Week
The seminar addressed the rights and responsibilities of university students in relation to academic traditions, with a focus on increasing awareness of Student Disciplinary Regulations No. 160 of 2007, especially for new students. It also emphasized the importance of fostering peaceful coexistence within the university campus and creating a safe environment characterized by transparency and mutual understanding. Valuable contributions were made by Mr. Bassem Mohammed Abdul-Imam, Head of the Legal Affairs Division, and Ms. Haneen Mahmoud Ibrahim, a faculty member
Additionally, the Head of the Materials Management Department, Ms. Manal, delivered a motivational speech highlighting the importance of students adhering to university regulations to ensure a healthy educational environment that promotes cultural awareness
The seminar also featured a unique poetry segment, where several poets presented verses celebrating unity and camaraderie among students. This added an atmosphere of positive interaction and creativity to the event
